Overheard the day before Thanksgiving, on Newbury Street, just outside where I work. The young woman waiting there and the guy that scooped in were clearly in love, perhaps even newlyweds. Their clear affection for each other was attractive, and the way he said "Pumpkin Pie" suggested a private, lover's code between them.
