A story about a reaper whom helps purify the wounded/tainted souls of children
the boy died from falling off a tree and having cracked his skull open
the girl dies from internal bleeding of something being puntured by a rib from her abusive father that hit her side with a baseball bat
the reaper cries tears with the children, as their agony becomes his
the children cry of happiness, thanking him for easing their suffering and making it go away
their praise, the only sound that echoes and resonates within his wounded soul
weeping from the pain that he is now taking as his own burden
he sacrifices his soul, to keep help such young souls find peace

all children know he is good
because the one part of him that never gets tainted
are his wings
