Choosing this as my first submission here because I'm actually quite fond of this character and this piece.

When I originally designed Domingo back in 2006, I had intended for him to be a bandit of sorts. Holding up banks, robbing trains, and just generally causing trouble in the various small desert towns around his hideout. His flamboyant and crazy nature made him quite the interesting character, but as time went on I sort of abandoned the "bandit" thing in favor of playing up his "run around in his underwear like a lunatic" side.
I decided I missed the bandit side of him, and wanted to bring it back. It's what he did before he moved to the city and started living in an apartment. At some point, he lost most of his ill-gotten loot (and hideout, and clothes...) in a particularly bad poker game, and he took what little he had left and moved to the big city, (mostly) leaving the bandit lifestyle behind.

Here, Domingo is returning to his roots as a bandit, brandishing his rifle and running off after stirring up some trouble.

When I was doing this digital colored version, I started playing around with some stock textures and fonts and stuff, and came up with this sort of "wanted poster" look. My original intent was to have him running through a small desert town or something, but I really like the way that this looks. Simple, yet effective, it doesn't detract or distract from Domingo himself while still giving the impression that yes, he is a bandit, and he is up to no good.
