So I tried to draw another super cute kitty but this happened instead. (Seriously)

My friend's all time favorite car is the Datsun 240z. One of the items on his bucket list is to get one of these cars and restore it. Well this Christmas a part of his dream was fulfilled and he found a well used 1970 Datsun 240z in his driveway and over the course of the next couple of decades he's going to be spending his free time restoring it.

A long time ago I loved to draw cars, but I was awful at it. So initially when I started drawing this I was pretty nervous about how it was going to turn out. I don't think it turned out half bad!

From start to finish, it took me around 10 hours. More or less. I started when I went to my friend's house before we left to see the Hobbit, and spent the last 8 hours (from about 10pm till 6am) finishing her up.

Also, I tried to make it a point to not use a any rulers or straight edges to keep my lines straight. I used a protractor to help me get the angle of the window but other than that I tried to do it free hand.
