Owls represent seeing into the unknown, the dark and the feared. They commonly represent wisdom and death. They are more comfortable in the night and around things others fear.

I've always been told that my spirit animal, totem, demon, whatever you want to call it is an owl. I didn't start to fully understand why until more recently. I've held several different animals, both dead and alive, but once I held a barred owl, I felt immediately connected to it in the spiritual sense.

I'm more awake when it gets dark, if given the choice, I'd definately be nocturnal.

My element is air which is connected to birds and the trees. I love them both, I'd love to fly as a bird does and often do in my dreams, and I climb up any tree I can.

I've also been told I'm very birdlike.
