Have fun trying to pronounce the name of this creature :B. Anyway on the planet Igelin there exists an arthropod that resembles a snowman which is fitting considering its a frigid planet and all.

Csa!la'mai are one strange creature that's for sure, for one thing they're actually hunters and use that big proboscis on their face to break through the exoskeleton of the various species of their planet (since what few creatures that managed to evolve on Igelin are arthropods), it also helps peck through ice. furthermore, it has 8 legs but appears to only have 4 since the feet are fused as pairs with one set on its thorax and the other on its abdomen. While it appears to have arms those are actually tentacles... coming out of its neck.... yeah.

Interestingly this is one of the few non sapient species I've introduced with sexual dimorphism though its a minor one: only the males have 3 bald spots (one on their neck and two on their thorax). It doesn't seem to serve much purpose outside helping individuals distinguish potential mates.

For the record as far as ecology goes these things are found in small herds here and there throughout the planet, they're sometimes eaten by Bli!gira but aren't commonly kept as cattle. Think of them kinda like deer on our planet... weird fluffy bug deer.
