HOLY FUCKING SHIT, I ACTUALLY DID A DRAWING WITH A BACKGROUND, LIKE AN ACTUAL BACKGROUND NOT JUST RANDOM PATTERNS SHOVED BEHIND A STAND ALONE CHARACTER. GIVE ME ALL THE FUCKING AWARDS!

Anyway, my part of an the exchange was to draw Ace-of-Instuition’s character Thoran doing something summer based. A lot of people did beach images but around these parts (because I live on a island) camping is far more a popular thing to do in the summer which usually involves enjoying nature and all the shiz. After reading Thoran’s bio which mentioned the fact he studies plants on Earth I decided to base his image on something I actually did this summer: hunted for the elusive lady slipper. Its the provincial flower around here and they’re pretty hard to come by so we went into the woods and found some. Poor guy is overheated because everyone underestimates how hot it gets here in the summer EVERYONE, INCLUDING ME EVEN THOUGH I’VE LIVED HERE ON AND OFF FOR OVER 20 YEARS >:[

Image wise because I’m completely fucking insane I decided to do the image in MSpaint, partial pixel art (much of the background was done simply painting style because otherwise the image would have taken 6000 years to do x-x).
