There's a number of animals I've wanted to draw but couldn't come up with any elaborate image to draw them in so I decided to do some quick animal study type art like I did with those insects a while back.

So yeah on the top is a yellow spotted salamander and the bottom is a tanuki. The tanuki in particular was drawn only using actual photos as references so it may deviate a bit from how cartoony versions of this animal are typically drawn.
