Another one of those characters I haven't drawn in years, Willis Wheeler is one that met with mixed reception when I first drew him, but I don't feel like that should really prevent me from trying to develop him further, especially a couple years later.

Past drawings had him looking a bit sad or worried, but he seems in much higher spirits here, now that he's a bit more used to being in that chair. Which, as he's quick to point out, means he never has to worry about having a place to sit!
He's a bit of a smartass.

He's a young disabled veteran, paralyzed from the waist down after taking a few rounds in a firefight. Much of his story would be based on his life after that incident, and what he does afterwards. I'm thinking he'll wind up working as a counselor or something along those lines, maybe working with the teenage characters at Hartford High School, or working with the other soldiers.
