It's hard being trans. It's even harder to be a very effeminate trans man. Every time I try to let myself be myself, someone is questioning my masculinity. Trans man wearing anything feminine? EVERYONE JUMPS ALL OVER ME FOR BEING A "GIRL." But of course, let some cishet man put on a dress and wear nail polish, and everyone applauds him for pushing or redefining gender norms. Freaking double standard.

Honestly this is one of the things that bothers me a lot that I rarely tell anyone about.
