As word of the so-called 'Tame camp' spread, people became aware both of the very friendly animals there and that that some of them would also eat you, but only if you volunteered. This resulted in a small influx of what can only be called pred groupies, albeit ones with a short shelf life as each could only "volunteer" once.

Sadly, many of them were so fixated on their coming digestion that they failed to follow by now well spelled out instructions, such as 'Take ALL your clothes off before putting your head in an animal's mouth'.

Occasionally this results in a predator wandering from campsite to campsite, trying to find someone to take those darn shoes off its meal so it can finish swallowing. It knows from painful experience that swallowing them is a bad idea. Eventually someone does, and one time a lucky hyena got a double meal when his helper stripped and put his head in between the feet. Bonus!
