So in the Symphogears series, Chris Yukine (Brenna here) starts off as one of the villains.

But one of the main protagonists, Xilimyth here (as Kanade Amou - NOT the actual protagonist I'm referring to, but it STILL makes a strange sort of sense in context of the series) is determined to win her over, through the power of FRIENDSHIP! =O.O=

"Prrrf! We're ENEMIES! Enemies aren't supposed to hug each other!"
"Which is why we're gonna become the BESTEST buddies!"
