This was a very hard piece to conceptualize initially. Shawn Howlsey approached me with another commission he was getting recently and wanted to do it with his character and Murana. However, idea after idea, none of them were really working since most of the 'cute' date ideas just weren't fitting Murana as a character. After much thought, I pitched the idea that maybe instead of Murana, Taylor could be the date and we could have them out on a traditional, stereotypical 1950s date in a diner sharing a milkshake together. In this case though, the added variable here would be Ahya, who would be hungry enough to crash the date and steal some shake for herself, thereby busting Taylor's ruse of normality and prompting a very interesting discussion afterwards!
