Iolar, the Guardian Spirit of Raptors

Here he takes the form of an aplomado falcon, with facial markings similar to those of an ornate hawkeagle, while he watches over the next generation of birds of prey. In this case, a nest of young osprey.

Big thanks to Almonihah for giving me so much creative freedom with this piece. The lighting and sky was a blast to paint. I honestly haven't had this much fun with a piece in years.
