The former Claw and Voice of koda of the dual Solitudes Retread sanctuary and Travelers Vigil village and trading hub.

The claw was a strong woman, ruled with a iron fist, and no one remembers the last time she shed a tear.  Even at old age she stayed as the claw, hiring the best warrior of the village to be her right hand. She kept traditional weapons alive and made sure everyone was fed and warm. No one disobeyed her and untill her old age no one could best her in combat or in the art of sailing and comanding the sanctuary ship. She would sing to her children at night, even after their death and only hoped to live long enough for a new heir to her and her husband were trained so she could be with them again. Vigilant Ice was a truely great general and the reason the voice had the strength to do anything. 

The Voice was a man who veiled himself, hiding away from even deeper than what was traditional. Only those his age, the Claw, his attendants, and the next voice knew what he looked like--generations never knew his face or his voice....  He was the one who commanded his tribe of kodan to stop running, to set up in a inlet, and dig their heels in; a decision that most likely saved them from having their sanctuary sunk at sea and gave the village propserties and protection beyond those that any village will have in the future . However, since the trauma of being attacked, by losing his children, by being as connected tothe mists and koda as he was.... He became ravaged and slowly insane with Koda's Rage. When his panic attacks and screaming were even too much for his attendants to calm him the only one able to was his wife, the claw.  He became obsessed with trying to find a hier for him and his wife and refused even with his insanity and complete fear to back down.  He had a hunch from one woman, a kodan who had been a survivor from a sanctuary where almost everyone was killed but she...she wasnt quite it.  But she had a miracle child and from the day he was born he new that the child would either be the voice or the claw.  It was the same with his attendant... she wasnt the voice or the claw... but..she was a connection and he kept her close since she was a child too. Holy Solitude despite his flaws,  despite how terrifying he would become for the new voice, was a ruler with the best in mind for his people.
