A late PP score by Sammy Gswodz completes a Jacksonville comeback.

The Ice Cats take advantage of Lyah getting caught and score of the powerplay in the first. Raleigh is then able to kill a penalty of their own with Antero Ansikorpi in the box, and hold the score to 1-0 leading into the second

The second is fairly quiet until the 12th minute when Gators Defencemen Lyah is able to fire one past Whiteleaf and tie the score. That tie would not hold for long, as Ice Cats Defencemen AJ Frans would score and put the Ice Cats back ahead. Blasa Pyra would attempt to put the Ice Cats up two as the period closed, but the ring of iron signals that they just missed. As the horn blows to end the second, the Ice Cats still lead, by the score of 2 to 1.

The Gators would tie it up early in the first off a goal by Sylvia stapler, and the score would hold tied until late in the third. With Jacksonville on the powerplay due to a hooking infraction by April Deak, the Gators would setup Sammy Gwosdz and score the game winner, as the Gators would go onto win by a score of 3-2. With the in, the Gators further cement themselves in first place in the Eastern Conference, and help to keep up with the Killer Bees for the Commissioners Cup.
