Alan doesn;t want James for two reasons:
1. They agreed they would hire nobodies. People who never played in a band before. James had played for some time in the Appendages
2. Maik, the Appendages' singer is the nicest guy in the world. You would break his legs and he would apologize for wasting your time. Maik kicked James out of the band, which means James was being horrible
But, Ace has a feeling, he really wants James.
