...or "trying to do something about my terrible Aphantasia."
I've known for a year or two now that I have Aphantasia, and that the majority of people can actually see more than just blackness in their mind. And that when someone told you to imagine something, it wasn't 'just an expression'. It has been a frustrating fact ever since I learned it, as I finally understood how other artists could already have a page layout or character pose in their mind before they even started drawing, but it was just something I had to deal with. 
It was recently brought back up when I found a video by AmyRightMeow that explained her experience with it, which was very close to my own, and did a much better job explaining it than I could. I recommend watching it if you are at all interested in Aphantasia or what it's like. 
The video brought up a thing called Image Streaming... an exercise that is supposed to help improve it over time. So that's something I'm going to be trying from now on.
