get ready y'all

songbird is a corporation well known and well loved by all for supplying cities and towns with Green Energy(tm) all across the world. nobody knows exactly where they get their energy exactly but its rumored to be taken from the tides. of course the true motives of Songbird are not known to the public, but they certainly arent pure.

so far there are four known agents of Songbird Corp. all known to go by code names given to them by the corporation.

TOP RIGHT

Canary, age 32
a man of many talents and so far the highest ranking agent of Songbird known. his code name was earned because like a canary, he appears to be harmless, but sings well to those who need to hear it. hes an informant, a spy, and gets his information by befriending his targets. most people are quick to trust him, given they dont see the brand on his wrist saying "do not trust" how or when he got the brand is classified. his true name is classified.
as mentioned before, canary is a man of many talents. not only is he an informant, but hes often seen at public Songbird events, shaking hands with big names and the like. the public knows him as a friend like every other songbird employee (which are different from the agents), however they dont know his true work. another thing he does for the corporation is assassinate those who look too closely at Songbird. he prefers to use a sniper rifle for his kills but hes well trained in hand to hand combat and so on. Eliminating those who become too curious is a necessity of every Songbird agent. he joined Songbird at the age of 17 and trained until we was 26, however the time period he was born is classified.

MacHeath: age 28
MacHeath, also known as "Mack the Knife" was a well known serial killer and psychopath from the 50's who was shot and presumably killed by a cop in his hometown. however, Songbird, who was already well established at the time and showing an interest in the killer, stole his body from the morgue and froze him in a cyrostasis unit for later use. once they were certain they had the formula they needed for their intentions, they unfroze and resurrected him, injecting a serum into his right arm in an attempt to turn him into a super soldier of sorts.
unfortunately for MacHeath, or Macky as they call him, something went wrong with the serum and caused a mutation to form in his arm. sharp, black carapace-like material burst painfully from under his flesh in the effected area, both strengthening and harming him. so in a way, the serum worked. just in a different way than expected. and of course Songbird didnt mind much about the pain they had caused him.
Macky was sent out into the present world as a freelancer, taking on jobs for Songbird to kill small time targets whichever way he pleased. Although he's happy to continue his killings where he left off, he's unhappy to be used. Songbird noticed, and decided to bribe him with a specialized medication to keep the mutation in his arm from spreading to the rest of his body. they can control it, but refuse to fix it. its far too interesting and convenient for them.
fully mutated, MacHeath appears to be demonic with sharp, blackened claws and bright orange eyes, and is covered almost entirely in specialized bandages used both to cover himself up, and keep the radiation that pulsates off of him from effecting those around him. among other agents, these bandages are rumored to have magical properties but the truth about that is classified.
along with the new strength he would otherwise only know in his effected arm, Macky is able to create and form orbs of blue concentrated radiation to directly destroy anything organic it comes into contact with. in this form, he isnt used for small time murders, hes used to clear out villages and even cities.
Among all the Songbird agents, MacHeath is the only one who truly resents Songbird. he keeps this to himself however, both because of the punishments he would face and because he respects them for what they're doing. After all, given he had the resources, he would do the same thing to them.
MacHeath's first name is classified. nobody within current society has been able to recognize him from his life in the 50's due to his much-practiced ability to avoid detection, as well as the fact that he is presumed dead.

this goes for any other agent of Songbird as well. those who see an agent of Songbird on the job are killed immediately as well as any known friends or family members who could have been informed. very rarely is there an exception.

BOTTOM LEFT

Crier: age 23
Crier is a well known public representative and speaker for Songbird as well as an assassin in training mentored by Canary. however Crier is definitely not the head of Songbird and has little control in what the corporation does. the Public may assume that though.
Crier is very agile and well trained both physically and mentally. it is rumored that he's been a part of Songbird all his life and started his training at a very young age under the mentorship of other, older agents. his real name is Lonnie and he is well loved by the corporation's elders and agents.

Lightkeeper: age 29
Given that Songbird supplies energy to cities all over the world, its obvious that they too would have agents from all over the world. Lightkeeper was born in Russia but works undercover in New York as a spy and informant for Songbird. According to lesser spies and informants, there is said to be a high amount of suspicious activity in New York in regards to people looking into and investigating the true intentions of Songbird. That being said, in the city Lightkeeper acts as a detective pretending to investigate for the curious and worried groups of people. by getting close to and befriending them, he can learn their activities, warn Songbird of any attacks or infiltration attempts and keep them under control.
He earned the code name of Lightkeeper because in the city, he keeps things safe and under control for Songbird, much like a lightkeeper would with his lighthouse during a stormy night.
Lightkeeper's first name is Velko, however his last name has been lost and forgotten over time. His Russian accent never comes out unless he is in a safe place among other Songbird agents. Otherwise, his American accent is flawless.
Little is known about Velko's past, other than that he was trained to be a skilled assassin and informant from childhood when he was bought from his family and taken to a spy academy run by Songbird in Russia. He was far too young at the time to remember much of his biological family and harbors no ill-will against Songbird for taking him. Although, he feels bitter about his family selling him and hopes one day he will be able to find them so he can kill them himself. However at the moment he just doesn't have the time.
Velko is known to get along well with Canary and regards Crier and Macky's constant bickering as 'sweet' and 'entertaining.' Although they are among the most untrustable people in the world, Velko trusts those three more than any other and views them as the family he's never had.
