Voltaire as a character has been my fursona for the longest time. Don't get me wrong, I have no intentions of changing this; quite the opposite, in fact - I intend to keep him as my 'sona for as long as I'm in the fandom.
However, that doesn't change the fact that it's fun to play around with a character's design every now and then. Whether these are "canon" forms or not, I'm not sure; I always thought of Volt as just a normal guy, so it'd be weird to have alternate forms as a consistent thing in artwork and stories. Regardless, it was fun to get these ideas out on paper.

Thing is, if I make any major changes like this, I kinda' feel as though he'll begin to seem like a different character. This isn't the first time I've played around with changing his form, but in the end I always return to just a basic anthro fox-wolf.

That’s always true—the only reason Keira-Jo has a human form is when back on FA my friends who wanted to draw her for me said they couldn’t draw an Echidna! XD
