What was supposed to be a simple portrait piece for Zarah of their spider girl character turned out to be far more ambitious on the scenery end as I explored the idea of using fractal distribution to populate regions of the image with copies from a small sample set of original sets. I used this fractal distribution method for the cherry blossom trees and the barely visible rocks on the background.
