An offensive explosion in the second seals the win for Houston!

After some rough stuff in the early in the first, teams would fight back and fourth and hold the score until the 12th minute. At 12:09 Danny Carter would find a way to get one past Tretyak, and give the Totem Paws the 1-0 lead. Chippy would ring one off the crossbar in the closing minutes, but the Totem Paws 1-0 lead would hold going into the second.

In the second, Lee would put the Cosmonauts on the board early, before Lunari would use the spark of a penalty on Thicke to scoring on the power play and then later in the period, leading the Cosmonauts to have the 3-1 lead going into the third.

The Score would stand in the third, as Houston would dig in and hold on, with Lee scoring a final daggar in the closing minutes, and the Cosmonauts would go onto win 4-1
