I made this costume over a year ago, but never actually got any good photos of the completed costume.

The tabbard was made with a weaving board technique: I wrapped jute twine on a large piece of foamcore board, then wove colored yarn. This gives it a more knit look instead of a painted piece of fabric.

The tunic and arm and leg wraps were distressed with tea and paint to mute the stark white, and the shirt and shorts were hand stitched with yarn embroidery. The blue wrist and shin guards, and the brown belt were made with cow leather.
