^u^; Both the fan and the canon depiction of dear Cirucci I find rather eerie... creepy as frick. I mean... just every chapter opening or graphic novel volume cover with her splayed weirdly and bondage imagery and fetishy creepiness when hello she's supposed to be this warrioress... not, you know, a character in a hentai.
Then again, it's kind of that way with EVERY female and/or disturbingly grossly poorly coded queer character in Bleach, even the "good, puritanical, innocent" ones. Time for critical fanbrain again. >:3c I mean, I don't think I really have to point out there's some wildly unacceptable things in manga and anime that weeby folk for the most part ignore or hand-wave.
"Golondrina" means swallow but given the actual details of her Resureccion's powers, a hummingbird makes more sense.

I kind of attribute it to Kubo wanting to try and "shock" or "horrify" people every single storyline. lol Even for characters he doesn't do any details on--the fan-canon that gets laid out there usually fits (Izuru Kira being a target for Gin Ichimaru's hidden anger and/or violent sex.......making him always look abused..........when he was actually a very well-adjusted individual coming out of the Academy).
