The Teary water Reflection

BlackInkBlood

The statue watches from afar, observing the young children play. They run around absent mindedly, laughing, shouting and screaming, smiles beaming from they’re faces. Eventually they get bored of their games and come over to the statue, the boys resting down beside it and the girls making flower crowns to decorate their hair and place on the statue.
The elders tell stories of this statue and how the spirit of a fallen angel resides within, watches with tearful sorroe and loneliness watches them. The story talks about how the angel wishes to regain her wings and so she decided that village would be her home to watch amd protect. One elder called the statue Valdís, and that she enjoyed the company of others around her even though she could not show trapped in stony prison of the statue.
This was why the children, when ever they played, would always sit down with statue and talk about they’re daily activities, and adorn the statue with flowers. As they felt that Valdís liked that.

Apologies if there grammatical errors and spelling errors.
