Chytridiomycosis, or the Chytrid Fungus, has been a bane on the amphibian populations of the world. This infectious disease has wiped out countless frog populations and brought many others to the brink. It is considered to be the worst infectious disease in history affecting invertebrates. Conservationists have been working hard to combat this disease, but we must continue to help these poor souls who have already been suffering population decline due to habitat loss and pollution. The Chytrid Fungus spreads and grows through the suffering of our beloved amphibians.
