"She's baaaaaack...."

A digital painting of Zalika Corby, a.k.a. "Daughter Night", Super Collie's adversary from the Super Collie stories "Dark Designs" and "Dark Desires". It has been thirteen years since I last drew her, so I thought it was about time she was drawn again.

This started out as a standard sketch / ink / colour piece, but it somehow became more of a digital painting (in Krita, natch). The "Jessica Rabbit" dress was suggested in the stream that I did the colouring in, but I changed it from red to white to contrast with Zalika's dark fur.
Now she looks less "Jessica Rabbit" and more "Servalan" (from "Blake's 7") - which is nice. I always thought Zalika had a streak of Servalan's ruthlessness and cunning...
