few month old drawing i realized i never uploaded

newish character of mine.

Previously, Aphalon was an alchemist who was attempting to create his own fortune. He partnered up with a medicine man, working at his shop and using his workspace with the promise that he would share his inevitable fortunes with him. In the meantime, he mixed his own medicines, tonics and salves to be sold at the shop as well.

His partner grew impatient with Aphalon's lack of progress and unbeknownst to him began to infect him with various diseases, under the guise of them experimental new medicines that his partner needed to test on someone.

Aphalon soon grew ill, a fungus spreading over his body, slowly but surely destroying his form. He eventually was augmented with sickle like blades for legs after his lower limbs required amputation due to the spreading fungi. He now conceals his ruined body with a black cloak, and is now nearly unrecognizable as the person he once was.
