Michele Light! She was one of the artists I discovered soon after discovering furrydom many years ago, I think I had a thing for one of her seductively dressed husky girls named Dakota. Her work was instrumental in facilitating my general furry fetish and also the Japanese/anime girl aesthetic. Also, alluding to your shirt, I love the way she does/did snowmeows!

So much has changed in the interim. She was a prominent artist along with Terrie Smith, and if you wanted artwork of theirs you had to buy prints with checks via the mail. Digital galleries were only in their juvenile stage. VCL and Furnation were entirely non-interactive. Now, we have maybe 100x more artists (if not 1k times the artists), and because of the extremely massive proliferation of talent and pictures, Michele and Terry are known only to the few greymuzzle holdouts. The typical furry nowadays- usually ranging from teens to their mid 20's and maybe into their early 30's, could reel off a dozen or two elite artists they wish to commission, but would have no clue who those two are.

I wonder if Michele still has and uses her business website and sells stuff. I hope so. I want at least one or two things to remain the same 20-25 years later and not go away or turn to crap.

Speaking of veteran artists... I met you long ago once, in 2000 or 2002. Your artwork also was at the forefront of my mind. My ancient HDD from my ancient desktop tower unit might have a lot of your pics which I had saved in the early-mid 2000's, actually. I'm glad you didn't just disappear as I had believed last time you came to the front of my mind a while ago.
