Jade grew up in the slums of various cities in Zhonggou with her father Trogdor. Growing up poor her whole life, she often resorted to pick-pocketing to eat. One day, after getting into a scrap with some older kids, Jade came home bleeding and bruised, so her father began teaching her how to fight properly. Before she could finish training wholly, her father vanished and left Jade alone to fend for herself.

Recently, Jade has found company with a band of adventurers as well as some comforts of a noble's lifestyle. Traveling alongside the Lady of Jade Mountain, Jade has sparred with the Masters of the Elements. She has received lessons from the Masters of Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal. The Trial of Water will prove to be her toughest challenge yet!
