On FelisPardus we currently have six leopard breeds, three Conservationists (natural) and three Experimentalists (artificial). They are: African, Amur, and Snow (Con) and Jeweled, Tropicana, and Elemental (Exp). We've been working on doing a specialty background to go with each breed, and so far we had:
Savannah (African)
Jeweled Cave (Jeweled)
Winter Forest (Amur)
Jungle Branch (Tropicana)
Elemental Island (Elemental)
...so now this one, the last one, Snowy Mountain, goes with the Snow Leopards! :D I referenced this off a photo from a snep cam (taking the snep out) and I am reeeeally happy with it. I tried to work a lot on my edge control (using different types of edges ie hard, soft, lost) and while there weren't a lot of opportunities for lost edges in this piece, I'm pretty pleased with my work on doing better hard edges. I learned a lot of little things from this that I'll be sure to put into use with future paintings!
