Alright, it's finally coming along!
I started this a week or two ago, but didn't quite know how to go about it. But as I resumed work on it this weekend, I figured out how I would end up doing this. I had originally planned to make the trunk out of fleece (the material I'll be using to cover this thing) stuffed with polyfil, similar to the construction of a tail, but I was unable to foresee the finished product or the construction steps I would take to get there. So on a whim, I decided to extend out what little bit of trunk I had in order to get a better idea of what I would end up doing. I now think that it'll be better if I make the trunk out of foam, as it will be easier to work with and will allow for more precision. Correct me if I'm wrong, however - I am but an amature.

To do:

• Add ears. I'll want to experiment with their angle and see what works best.
• Add eyebrow ridges.
• Extend the trunk, working in a curvy shape as I go.
• Carve out a smile. ^^
• Add another layer to the cheeks?

What do you guys think? Anything I should try fixing before I continue?
