Even when all the trials and tribulations of 2409 forced the Caitian into the captain's chair earlier than expected, keeping things ticking along nicely has always been one of her primary concerns. Of course, being assigned to the big chair can present certain interesting opportunities. Her contacts throughout Starfleet allowed her access to technology that would raise more than a few eyebrows, but her results couldn't be denied. Already a fast ship, the USS Cheetah's infusion of Borg technology enhanced the Dauntless-class science vessel's capabilities admirably.
