Secretly I wanted to try out a face and eyes/eyebrows half covered in bangs character and then it snowballed
I really like this design; I also learned a lot about kimono while working on this and I realized that I’ve been drawing them wrong probably more than half the time. Even this one is pretty simplified and stylized, but you can probably tell which sketches were made before and after the research and from now on I’m gonna do my best to be accurate because it’s better for everyone.
