So this is a design I got recently from CafeMellowSmile on dA. I named it Dormiveglia and I'm super excited to work with their character, I've already got some really good ideas.

Dormi is more of a supernatural being, an entity that skirts the lines of physical and ethereal existence. They feed on stresses and emotions in the minds of individuals at rest, and is able to project itself psychologically into people's subconsciousness. Its voice is always calmly spoken whispers. These voices and speech are discernible to the human ear, but the longer a person listens to Dormiveglia's whispers, the more muddled and incoherent they become until the person listening succumbs to its power and passes out. Dormi usually uses this ability of theirs as a method to subdue targets so that they may pick through their minds and feed as they please. While it is not a directly physically dangerous creature and will not outright kill people with its own strength, if allowed to subdue and feed upon an individual for too long, the victim can show signs of intense fatigue and often depression, and if left entirely unchecked and fed on severely, a victim can develop suicidal tendencies that often result in death.

Despite being able to evoke such things in its victims, Dormi is not an outright hostile entity. It will only really use its abilities and subdue prey when it needs to, when it is hungry and requires thought consumption. Other than that, it is actually rather shy and docile and prefers to spend its time as far away from humans as possible.

Physically, Dormiveglia is swift and agile. Though it has apparently winged arms, these cannot be used to fly, but Dormi is an excellent jumper so when leaping from great heights, it does look like they are flying.

It lives in a somewhat rural suburban area, right at the cusp between the country and the city, where it can have a steady supply of human prey, as well as the needed privacy from them. Dormiveglia is most often active at dusk, dawn, and night time. Direct noontime sunlight will blind it.

Wary of everything, it is still vaguely possible to get on its good side and befriend it to the best of your abilities. In doing so, many who have often refer to it by male pronouns and will enjoy carrying on idle conversation about the weather. If one is able to bond especially close to Dormi, they can allow them to analyze their mind without fear of being fed upon. This is extremely rare though, given Dormiveglia's reclusive nature.
