OwO; Something implied from the Aligned novels but never gone into in any detail at all (that novel mostly focused on Optimus-alias-Orion, Ratchet, Ironhide, Jazz, Prowl and others!), and I basically just expand it in my headcanon for writing junk on Primescream! A youthful Starscream in the wars against the occupying Quintessons; wars to free the oppressed Cybertronians and the basis for 'Scream's original honor and fame and power and good reputation as a brilliant soldier. ^w^; Personality aside, the Aligned novels really put it up there that Starscream's rank as a leader of the Seekers of Vos was actually deserved in some way.

.>w> This is pretty much how I imagine a young Starscream proving up: He's just a lower-ranking officer in this scene, involved in a battle to evict the enslaving Quintessons from Vos's cities along with a band of others he's convinced to follow his plans. And now that he's swatted away the last bodyguard he's just cornered and captured one of the more important of the invaders' directors... A tactical triumph and a victory for Cybertron (and Starscream! After all, he does love it when a plan comes together... X3).
