My werebear Antella, this time in the middle of changing. As a disciplined Order knight, she does not usually shift out of blind rage. She's adapted to her powers well and has quite a lot of control over them (usually). You will definitely see her transform as a defense mechanism to protect an ally, as she becomes much larger and tougher as a werebear.

I always tend to go with an "outside in" approach to lycanthrope transformations, with the extremities changing quicker while the rest of the body realigns and adjusts to the limbs. That is, that's the ideal transformation, weres that have poor self control or just starting out shift a lot more chaotically (likely more painfully too).
