The cover of a new manga series I'm doing - A steampunk/fantasy fairy tale that makes one question what is real and what is fake in life. And yes, inspired by 'Monster Musume', it's a Harpy character this time.

This manga's story is again gonna be a little bit of vent-art and stress-relief due to past and recent personal issues...I've noticed how nowadays the idea of friendship and relationships is very skewed - younger generations are preferring virtual friends to real friends, people are using facebook and other internet media to cheat on their supposed loved ones more and more often, bullies are now reaching their targets at home whereas before their 'power' was limited only to the school yard, and don't get me started on selfies...yes, new technology is improving modern living, but at the same time it is kinda destroying true kindness and love. ^^;
Let me put it this way: A computer can't hug you when you're crying, you can't go see a movie with somebody on face-time, an AMV with a bunch of photos of you slideshowing to a dubstep song is not a birthday present, making a bunch of sad memes or motivational pics are not helping charities, and taking a selfie with a beloved protected lion you just killed to 'show off on the internet' is NOT clever and NOT impressing anyone (true story, google it). -_-
My idea of a true friend or even just a truly kind person? A true friend will come to visit you in hospital when you're scared and upset, real friends will hang out with you somewhere fun whenever they can and not keep blowing you off every time for computer games or youtubing or just because they secretly don't like you etc, a real friend will give you a lift home if you're too drunk to drive and not just leave you to your own devices where you can get attacked or drive wrecklessly, a really kind person will donate money/blood/eggs/sperm/time on their hands/food/etc to help others who are struggling, and so on.

Sooooo....yeah, this manga's gonna cover some deep topics just like my Novella 'The Circus Wolfman' does. Also this manga is a side-project, so it's not going to be a case of '1 page per week' since I have other stuff plus work to do. I'll be adding pages whenever I can. BUT I do already have some pages in rough sketch so they should be ready soon.
