A note about the artistic process here: I didn't rely on my 3D models for this, and it was originally going to be a very choppy sketch, but I decided to power on and keep refining. It'd been such a long time since I actually drew anything, I figured I needed the practice. I definitely felt rusty, but feel like I actually improved overall.
