I really had this picture in head for a long time. I love her personality. Her basketball oponent would probably be Aida Riko from Kuroko no Basket (I love her too btw) but Shimizi´s personality charmed me more. She´s really supportive, and kind...looks shy yet is able to brace herself from Nishinoya and Tanaka when they´re hitting on her.

Anyways...this is probably the best sport anime I´ve ever seen. A really small amount of "superheroic" abilities so you can see a pure volleyball moves....ok there are some moments...but it wouldn´t be anime would it? :P

I don´t own Shimizu or Haikyuu, but I did this small piece or artwork.
