After an astounding three days as Twist the Penguin "7.0", On May 29, I revealed the rough plans to redesign Twist the third time, into a cat.
For the first and possibly only time, development and ideas were made public, and eventually on June 3, Twist the Cat was unveiled.

Unlike the previous two designs, which consisted of black stripes and neon colors, this design was mostly black and white, albeit his striped colored tail, reminiscent of the Jaybird/Penguin ages.
This design actually lives on with Twist the Cat's modern design, with prominent black and white and minimal color palette.

Here's a random fun fact! That little triangle marking near his neck actually inspired us to draw Twist with a bandana!
