To father, forgive me.
For I have passed into the world of the bizarre, the unpredictable, the strange and incomprehensible.
I do not expect you to understand what has happened to me, but know that I am alive and well, and hopefully safe for the time being.

Herein you will find my diary chronicling the months since I was captured by Queen Marjory of Esterland and dear uncle Bertrand was taken from us.
