Here's a still life of two things I put on my desk. I'd been drawing stuff now for 10 months so I wanted to practice more values based on what my eye saw. It was a lot of fun. I tried to pick out something heavy in refraction. Surprisingly the hard part was the plastic laminate for the badge. Various optical properties exploited in this picture are listed in the tags. This took a few days because I needed the sun position in a nearby window to be consistent.
