This enchanting tune first debuted in video format (seen here), but I wanted to give it the studio treatment as well. It's played on my rather unique quad-barreled Native American flute, made from cedar by Sunny Heartley, and keyed to G minor. This flute has two drone barrels, one melody barrel, and one "half-flute" harmony barrel. This allows for some interesting chords and harmonics!

The song itself is meant to be a sort of mystic chant, with notes from different parts of the flute blending and twisting like vines twining their way around a tree. I performed this song live at the wedding of two friends who got married at a beautiful spot out in the woods last year. The bride requested something in an "enchanted forest" sort of vibe, and this was the resulting sound that escorted her to the altar.
