Meet Hale!

A victim of slave trafficking and brutal experimentation during the Mordaine genocide, Hale dedicates her life to finding and freeing others of her kind from the breeding facilities and slaughterhouses they are imprisoned in.

Among shadowshifters she is what is considered ‘third’ gender, as it is what they call their intersex fellows, which can have a variety of different types, all considered very normal despite being not as common.

Her scar comes from an experiment done on her which ripped her shadows out of her and nearly killed her when they tried to use them to make a borok. She is now connected to the beast and can control it to a point.
