Part 1 of a series of commentary tracks that kjorteo and I recorded for The Poison Skies. In this part, we introduce the album and the novel that it was based on. In the background, the intro track “Total Eclipse” is intercut with samples from throughout the album.

“Total Eclipse” introduces the story as an unknown disease spreads through the atmosphere, leaving only isolated pockets of life. The city where the novel begins is left with no other option but to seal themselves away underneath a massive dome, shutting away the infected outside world.
