A couple of you got it right that Foris is more than just the decoration on the door...they ARE the door! Foris doesn't have a gender so they are typically referred to as "they", but a few times they are called "he" because they have a more masculine voice. As to why they don't have a gender...he's essentially a living rock and rocks don't have a gender.

May switch to updating the comic on Sundays because it seems to be easier for me to do. Next week's may be late because I'll be on a holiday vacation on Saturday and Sunday.
