True story: my friend has a black, floofy cat named Andromeda. Last winter she asked for a sketch in her book of whatever I liked, so I did a pencil drawing of the Andromeda galaxy in Andromeda the cat.
This summer she commissioned me to do a watercolor… and this was the result! XD
Referenced actually picture of Andromeda-the-cat in all her glory, plus picture of Andromeda-the-galaxy, who is pretty cool too.

Fantastic and very much evocative of the real Andromeda in her fluffiness and expression. She is such a dark cat and difficult to photograph, but this makes me imagine that maybe her little secret is that you can catch a glimpse of a microcosmos in her fur if the light catches just right...
