wabbits
awwww! so that's how/why some of them have the dewlap.. so cute!
i also share the pet peeve about so many people drawing rabbits just like cats (or even dogs) with extra long ears.
Well some rabbits can have super long ears, plus that can kind of rely on someone's style.
I'm personally not asking for everyone all the time to draw realism, just some things make absolutely no sense at all to put on a rabbit (like a dog nose and pawpads)
also some long bun ears

hehe! oh yeah those are super long ears! the long ears are fine; i meant it bugs me when a character is a cat or dog in every other way, but they give it long ears and call it a rabbit.
i agree we don't need to be realist all the time but the big honking noses and paw pads get me, i even bought a rabbit plushie once just because it had correct nose and paws and i was so surprised to find it xD
All the love for proper buns. Dewlaps can be so neglected in character design, but I've seen some people draw super cute bunny characters and include the feature which adds so much cuteness to them.
Face shapes too... I used to draw really messed up rabbits with doglike faces, with a defined brow ridge and long straight snout. I cringe just thinking about it.
I've raised rabbits, have two house pet rabbits, and definitely know better :P
I just enjoy a pink nose and big paw pads on my bun fursona. I could claim she was part cat or something but I just enjoy it aesthetically!
