Welcome, novice, to the ancient Tribe of the Imbru Ai. The first members of our order came from the distant island of Bandysar around the year 1600 B.L. , and they spread as far and wide across the world as they could. They had left their home to bring unexpected news to any who would listen: One among the Bandyiar had ascended and become Infinite. A god. A formless creature of spirit and of Source, fantastic and powerful and terrifying. His name was Imbru, and we are his students, seeking to follow his path to ascension.

Though you may enjoy honorary membership to our Tribe, full membership and access to all of our knowledge and resources is only granted to those that willingly demonstrate exemplary dedication. These people are marked by a blindness that has been voluntarily self-inflicted. Such a drastic change is frightening and difficult to adapt to, but we believe that our vision obscures the inner workings of the universe from us. Should you choose to follow our path, rest assured that you will soon discover a more truthful and fulfilling perception of the world around you.

For countless generations, we have both guarded and expanded on the techniques that the Infinites shared with us on Bandysar. This is the art of runesong. Its possibilities are limitless, and its practice is exhausting and dangerous. It is for this reason that we must study away from the eyes of the public, and allow it maintain its skepticism of us.

When practicing, great care must be taken at all times. A single inscription error can threaten a rune's maker and everyone around them. A rune should never be activated until it is perfected by its creator. A rune is not perfected until it can quickly be replicated, stroke for stroke, without reference. As one carves into the practice slab, one must also carve into the memory and the spirit.

All runes must have a cost. They take of its user. Ask no more of a rune than life that you have to give.
Remember these things, live by these truths. The universe yours to use as you desire...You need only know how to speak to it.
